Změna headlinera NTEY Df 2025 / NTEY Df 2025 headliner change!
Asi víte, že headlinerem dalšího ročníku měli být legendární death / thrasheři z USA – Opprobrium… Vše je ale nakonec jinak, viz. níže. / You probably know that the headliner of the next year was supposed to be the legendary death / thrashers from the USA – Opprobrium… But everything is differently in the end, see below.
Aby se nám smůla na paty nelepila málo, přišla o víkendu smutná zpráva zpoza velké louže… Headliner Opprobrium ruší celé na květen příštího roku plánované tour a tím pádem nevystoupí ani na NTEY. Proč se tak kapela rozhodla nevíme, čekáme na nějaké oficiální vyjádření. Níže naleznete alespoň vyjádření promotéra a hlavního organizátora celého tour Gigiho:

Opprobrium decided to cancel the tour, after i sent them all tour closed with all details and agreement with promoters, I worked free for 3 months without to take my money of booking, and i continued to send a message by email and by social (Fb, IG) and they didn’t reply anymore. I tried to save the tour changed the early agreement, but it’s didn’t change anything. Now I’m very angry for this situation, I did bad impression with all promoters, Wasted time and lose money. I hope You can understand this bad situation and we can work together again.

Ale abyste nebyli zase tolik smutní, sehnala agentura jako náhradu za Opprobrium jinou kapelu. A pořád zůstáváme na Floridě, pořád jedeme na vlně technického thrash / death metalu a zase se vrátíme hluboko do osmdesátek – konkrétně do roku 1984, kdy tahle kapela vydala svoje první jednoskladbové demo jménem Nosferatu. A za celou dobu své existence se ani tahle kapela do České republiky, potažmo Československa nedostala, takže se jedná o premiéru a vůbec první gig u nás! Touhle kapelou prošla taková jména jako Frank Watkins (Obituary, Gorgoroth), Alex Marquez (Brutality, Malevolet Creation, Solstice) nebo Gabriel Lewandowski (Amon, Acheron). Dva původní členové Pat Ranieri a J.P. Brown vydrželi v kapele až do dnešních dní a předvedou vám, jak se hraje skutečný old school v podání HELLWITCH!

In order not to add to our bad luck, sad news came over the weekend from behind the big puddle… Headliner Opprobrium is canceling the entire tour planned for May of next year, and therefore will not perform at NTEY either. We don’t know why the band decided so, we are waiting for some official statement. Below you will find at least the statement of the promoter and main organizer of Gigi’s entire tour:

But in order not to be so sad again, the agency got another band to replace Opprobrium. And we’re still staying in Florida, we’re still riding the wave of technical thrash / death metal and we’ll go back deep into the eighties – specifically to 1984, when this band released their first one-song demo called Nosferatu. And for the entire time of its existence, even this band did not get to the Czech Republic, i.e. Czechoslovakia, so this is a premiere and the very first gig in our country! Such names as Frank Watkins (Obituary, Gorgoroth), Alex Marquez (Brutality, Malevolet Creation, Solstice) or Gabriel Lewandowski (Amon, Acheron) have passed through this band. Two original members Pat Ranieri and J.P. Brown has remained in the band until today and will show you how to play the real old school performed by HELLWITCH!

Kdo z vás nebyl na United in Brutality v září, jistě ocení novinky v podobě nových záchodů, nových sprch a také nové parkovací plochy mimo areál spojené s možností kempování přímo u auta! / Three days of extreme slam / brutal / death / grind / gore massacre, this time from May 15 to 17, again at the Bajtlich recreation center in Chřibská. Those of You who weren’t at United in Brutality in September will certainly appreciate the news in the form of new toilets, new showers and also a new parking area outside the site with the option of camping right next to your car!

A jedenáctý ročník NTEY Deathfestu a tím také křest nového areálu jsou minulostí… / And the eleventh year of NTEY Deathfest and thus also the baptizing of the new area are in the past…
A nám už tak zbývá jen poděkovat Vám všem za úžasnou podporu, které se od Vás i tomuto ročníku dostalo! Bez Vás by to prostě a jednoduše nešlo a jsme rádi, že jste nám zachovali přízeň a že jsme se setkali takřka jen se samými kladnými reakcemi! Ano, s novým areálem je vždy trošku potíž, než si ho my jako pořadatelé i Vy jako návštěvníci osaháme a naučíme se v něm vše poskládat k vaší maximální spokojenosti, ale snažili jsme se ze všech sil! Víme, že ne úplně vše šlo tak hladce, jak bychom chtěli. Zejména parkování bude muset pro příště doznat nějakých změn a i sociální zázemí se bude muset nutně do budoucna rozšířit. (Tady si ale neodpustím malou poznámečku k toaletám uvnitř budovy, kde jsme museli několikrát řešit nefunkční odpady – každý ví, že vlhčené ubrousky se do toalety nesplachují a při nějaké té kázni přeci jen mohla situace se záchody vypadat trošku jinak.) I absenci sprch bychom do příště rádi nějak vyřešili. Ale jak píšu výše, i přes ty drobné nedostatky jsme od Vás slyšeli zejména pochvalné reakce, což nás neuvěřitelně těší a je to pro nás palivem, které požene plnou parou vpřed práci na NTEY Deathfest 2025, který se uskuteční od 15. do 17. května! Děkujeme, děkujeme a ještě jednou děkujeme!
Stejně tak patří maximální poděkování všem kapelám za neskutečně intenzivní sety plné brutality a nefalšovaného undergroundu! Pánům od zvuku a světel, všem jednotlivě i dohromady z NTEY Df crew za ty hodiny dřiny každý den od svítání hluboko do noci, borcům z občerstvení a vůbec všem, kdo se jakkoliv zasloužil o zdárný chod akce, byl to sakra hukot!

And all that’s left for us to do is thank You all for the amazing support we received from You this year as well! It simply wouldn’t have been possible without You and we are glad that you have kept us in favor and that we have met with almost only positive reactions! Yes, there is always a bit of trouble with a new area, before we as organizers and You as visitors get to grips with it and learn to put everything together to your maximum satisfaction, but we tried our best! We know that not everything went as smoothly as we would have liked. In particular, parking will have to undergo some changes for the next time, and the social facilities will necessarily have to expand in the future. (But here I won’t leave a small note about the toilets inside the building, where we had to deal with non-functioning drains several times – everyone knows that wet wipes are not flushed down the toilet, and with some discipline the situation with the toilets could have looked a little different.) Even without showers, we would have until next time, they are happy to solve it somehow. But as I write above, despite the minor shortcomings, we have heard mainly positive reactions from You, which makes us incredibly happy and which are the fuel for us to drive full steam ahead work at NTEY Deathfest 2025, which will take place from May 15 to 17 ! Thank You, thank You, and thank You again!
Likewise, thanks to all the bands for incredibly intense sets full of brutality and unadulterated underground! To the guys from the sound and lights, to everyone individually and together from the NTEY Df crew for the hours of hard work every day from dawn until late at night, to the bistro workers and to everyone who contributed in any way to the successful running of the event, it was a hell of blast!

Změny v pořadí kapel! / Changes in the schedule!
Ani tento rok se nám bohužel nevyhnou nějaké změny v sestavě, na poslední chvíli odřekl svou účast dvěma kapelám a to italští Sun of the Suns a rumuská gore/slam banda VomitingRot. Náhrady na poslední chvíli hledat nebudeme, jen se trošku posunul začátek jak čtvrtečního, tak pátečního programu, přičemž čtvrteční program uzavřou Nervecell av pátek začnou ve 13:00 Search and Destroy a na 14:00 se posunul start setu Capsaicin Stitch Rupture. Níže k nakouknutí aktualizované pořadí.
Ani letos se bohužel nevyhneme některým změnám v sestavě, na poslední chvíli svou účast zrušily dvě kapely, italští Sun of the Suns a rumunská gore/slamovka VomitingRot. Náhrady na poslední chvíli shánět nebudeme, jen se mírně posunul začátek čtvrtečního i pátečního programu, kdy Nervecell čtvrteční program uzavře a v pátek ve 13:00 začne hledej a znič a začíná Kapsaicinový steh.
